Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial arts artist, and fights at the UFC flyweight division. Shevchenko is the younger sister of her former UFC Flyweight champ and co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sport career with a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and was defeated by Suzane Miller in the finals with a unanimous decision. In 2018, she resigned from the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's improved strike technique let her TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended in the wake of the win. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale to be fought by Ji Yeon Kim.
