Morgan starred alongside other actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention as well as education. Part of the proceeds were donated toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives in support of the condition and testified to the Congressional Special Committee on AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his spot in AIDS activities. In addition, she hosted the AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. She has appeared twice on Nightline together with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy nomination for her particular episode on Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan co-starred on the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zeerneck and Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams as well appeared.
