Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. She has recorded several high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway by her, has given the song a boost of recognition. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' first musical moment was when she stumbled across a miniature piano in her basement and bewildered by the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music as a passion rather than as a job. She began to write writing her own songs. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored composers. When her mother informed her that her music would not just help her gain fame, but also make others see their significance to the world and appreciate the possibilities for them and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. Piano was her first instrument when she was six, and she started making music at the age of nine. This was not known by her family until she was fourteen. It was never a dream to turn into Aurora. She claims that she enjoys creating songs. She claims that music is her most preferred way of feeling something.
